No doubt! I don't think they have it all planned out, but if you read the Grover Norquist playbook, he wants to "starve the beast" until it's small and weak enough to "drown in a bathtub". Most of the rest of the Republicrooks could care less about that, they just know they've been given a license to steal. Since they're going with the flow and the plan, they'll be left to root at the public trough. Any event that causes expenditures is another opportunity to grab some more, and for them, philosophically and morally correct too! Could the world BE more perfect? The END of smaller government justifies the MEANS of their theft!

"Norquist has been noted for his widely quoted quip: "I don't want to abolish government. I simply want to reduce it to the size where I can drag it into the bathroom and drown it in the bathtub." The pledge of "no new taxes" that many Republican legislators have signed was his project."

I was listening to Mr. Michael Brown testify about FEMA's efforts in the Katrina catastrophe. Almost immediately, he began blaming democrats for his failures.

It a shame we cannot trade republicans on some market. They are so predictable.
