Thanks, we got air back yesterday when our engineer arrived back in town. He came from his country home directly to our home and got it back and running well. The heat index today is just as bad as yesterday, but having air puts our thoughts and bodies at ease today.

Houston has come back well and most groceries stores are full of fruit, water, milk, and bread again today. The produce area looked absolutely wonderful. Everything just looked so fresh and good, bought some plumbs and ate one...very good. Gasoline is easier to find also.

We have friends in Port Arthur or they actually live in Groves and we have not heard from them yet. I know her Mom and Dad live up in Austin and we feel that is were they evacuated to and should be safe. Just hope their home did not get too much damage from Rita.

My daughter's soon to be MIL who is 80 went up to be with relatives in East Texas and the relatives roof raised up and then sat back down and they all got wet along with the interior of the house. They all were going to stay a few days extra to help them get everything cleaned and back in order. No one got hurt, but surely were scared.
