You want to save the world Elroy - bull! If you wanted to save the world, why not go to work in Africa where the people actually want help and where small amounts could save millions.

Not sure where you're coming from. I never said I want to save the world, and I agree with the idea of helping the people of Africa, the main question seems to be how?

Your point, however, escapes me.

You are put in the ugly position of supporting a President that initiated an impossible war. This isn't about liberals or conservatives - it's about what is doing right for America.

I don't think I've ever expressed support for GB, so again you're coming out of left field. I think the forcible removal of the Saddam regime from power is a great thing, but that doesn't mean I like GB. I think the forcible removal of Saddam's regime from power is an example of doing the right thing (removing him) for the wrong reason (claims of WMDs).

I think any governing body that is despised by the majority of its people and which also defies the world community for a decade should be forcibly removed from power, and the formerly ruling class should be subject to justice at the hands of those they oppressed for years. Burma would be a good example of this. But that's my view, not the UNs.
