Has it occurred to you that in her view honoring her son's memory is best done by undertaking action with the goal of saving someone else's son. Can you relate to that one?

Has it occurred to you that USING her son's name in connection with a political position that he, himself was opposed to, and would still be opposed to, were he here to speak for himself, is NOT honoring his memory but instead is defiling his name in the worst way?

The man died for a cause he believed in. For someone else to use his name in fighting that cause, regardless of the relationship, is absolutely disgusting, anyway you slice it. The woman has far overstepped her bounds; at first, she had people's sympathy -- today, she looks like Hanoi Jane and John Kerry, all rolled into one.

I can relate to sons who have mothers acting like they know what's best for their children. She claims her son was forced into combat by Bush. The truth is that her son volunteered twice and knew exactly what he was getting himself into. It's a shame that we lost a hero like that guy, but it's an even bigger shame to see his memory being used in a way that he would probably not approve of. Even if it is his own grieving mother.

Using her son's death to get the troops out of NewOrleans?
She's lost it if she ever had it...
