Did you see a single pressperson out there delivering so much as a glass of water to the victims of Katrina?

I didn't.

Did a single pressperson know how the First Responders program works?

I saw no evidence that they did know.

Did a single pressperson bother to ask the NO Mayor why the buses weren't used? Did a single pressperson ask the Mayor why he said that "even if the buses were used, where could they have taken the people?"....

I heard no such questions. WHY did the press allow the Mayor and the LA Gov to get away with no answers?

Did the presspeople even note WHO was helping the victims of Katrina? The press focused on race....and all the "poor black people"..... Did the press bother to notice what color the rescuers were?

Of course not. That would have ruined their premise and their story.

Did Kalb (or any of the other arm chair media quarterbacks) ever EVER say what they "expected" Bush (or any other President) to do right away?

Did they expect the President to fly directly into the storm, deflect the people who were working on the aftereffects of the storm to instead clear pathways for the President to come and be in front of a microphone to show how busy he was?

Was the press so used to that with Clinton they expect every other President to immediately run to the nearest camera and microphone to give a "buck up" speech...??

Perhaps it is the media who should look at themselves as well. After all, it is the media who swirled the stories about hundreds if not thousands of people, killed, murdered, raped, and all the other horrors that were total lies.
