Not sure if you know who Spider John is? I went to see him at a small venue in a western suburb of Minneapolis back in August. Between sets, I was sitting on the toilet in the only men's bathroom stall, and suddenly John opened up the door (there was no lock) while I was, ahem... pinching one off. He said sorry and promptly dipped. All I could do was laugh. LOL If you want an insider look at another very humble man with traditional folk roots, check out the documentary DVD that Koerner put out in early 2005 (Been Here, Done That).
