i think i loved his love songs best. sometimes,
on some performances, of some songs, his voice
was the most beautiful sound i could imagine
hearing to perfectly express what i was feeling.

i also loved the way he'd change the pronunciation
of words and emphasize unusual syllables at times
for what seemed like no poetic reason - just for
mysterious or rebellious reasons like letting your
hair grow long or growing a beard.
