You figure it out. Does it sound to you like her son would have supported her position? I think it is totally obvious that he wouldn't.

Your post only proves the infinite capacity of the right to rationalize the absurd. You can't figure anything it out from this...all you can do is make wild assumptions and attributions. Today vs march of 2004, there is a world of difference about the support for the war, even for folks whose life is not at risk and in the military. A majority of the country today knows a great deal more about the basis for this war, the lies, miscalculations, and the mess it has led to... many of the people who suported it then have changed their minds, and consider that their lives are not at risk on the streets of the cities of iraq.
