I am not confused. McDermott has been convicted in a federal court of an ethics violation. He illegally released to the media tape recording which he illegally possessed. Have the Democrats on the House ethics committee allowed him to be removed form the House for violating the House's ethics or have they blocked it? Democrats cannot claim to have any moral standing as long as they allow McDermott to remain. Tom DeLay has been targeted by a partisan Democrat with a history of politically motivated litigation.
