All of this is perfectly fine, but the central issue is that none of this will silence the insurgents. Our presence in Iraq is what fuels them. So what if 50K teachers have returned to Iraq if there's no power to the schools? So what if Kurdish music is enjoying a revival if the Pesh Merga are slaughtering Sunnis on our behalf? And if the MSM was only reporting what you call good news purely for domestic consumption, it couldn't override the damage that our rules of engagement are causing every day, creating far more enmity than any positive developments.
