Well really, what good does it do if 500 schools have been rebuilt if reports of torture continue to come out, or about how Fallujah was virtually detroyed, or about GIs publishing pictures of dead and dismembered Iraqis on the internet so that they can get access to porn sites? So you think the truth should be suppressed? Your entire position is founded upon the idea that it was fundamentally a good thing for us to invade and occupy Iraq, as if our success was merely a matter of selective reporting. That's quite a leap you've made for me. I don't recall sharing my position with you. The bad news is that the failure of our policy in Iraq will be because it was fundamentally a bad idea. Opinions vary...history may tell a different story.
