Lucky for me... So what. I know several who were in. I also know cops who were at the Convention Center. And it's not even that which is important, because a few people do not have a good handle on a large event like that, certainly not the one person you know. It takes cool after the fact investigation and analysis which is happening now. And it is suggesting a massive exaggeration by the MSM which a lot of people here are swallowing whole. This exaggeration hurt NO tremendously because it will be the prevailing wisdom--and you are a great example--regardless of the facts. I have a special place in my heart for the dummies who shrieked about NO crime, which, except for murders committed by young black men, in actual fact was going down in all categories when K. struck. Served to create a wrong vision of a city completely out of control. But, hey, it's fun to shriek and create your own reality, isn't it? I don't have to guess or think Well you are guessing. I thoroughly agree with the second part of your comment, however.
