Win, the assertion much earlier was that "Bush" had requested private funding for aiding Iraq. The USAID is already funded in part by the US taxpayer, and is overseen by the Secretary of State. I'm sure you must know that.

To my knowledge, other than the UK article, there has been ZERO articles or information that Bush or anyone else is actively soliciting the US citizen for more money, other than what is already allocated by the agreed upon budget.

Can you show me otherwise.....? Something with direct quotes and a credible link?
