TJ, I think those interested would have bought SmartDrive washing machine samples a decade ago and filed what patents they could by 1995. You are a little late.

The motors should be useful almost in their current form for small city vehicles such as Segway up to 2 seater CityCars.

If summer wasn't coming on and I didn't have more important things to do, such as getting the Quid going and playing with Grandson-Hayes, I'd invent a 4 wheel SmartDrive car. It's even a good name for a car. Maybe better than for a washing machine. I could start with golf carts where speed and other on-road vehicle performance parameters, such as air-conditioning, and high performance cornering are unimportant. "SmartDrive" is a good name for golf carts too!
