rose~

selfishly i say to you, go the
the desert this winter ... i'm
already looking forward to your
photographs <s>

i have a lot of photos from past visits,
but they were shot on my more ancient digital camera.
still, the photos are nice to look at.
i did a lot of shooting at Boyce-Thompson Arboretum
near Superior, and at the Desert Botanical Gardens
at Tempe during past visits.

not sure what i'll end up doing.
i'm leaning towards the idea of
n. CA. -- s. OR. because i think i could get
away without a vehicle in the area.
i'm familiar with the area and i think
what i'd do is just get a bike from a
goodwill or maybe from a hardware store...
(jeez.. they must have the equivalent
of our Canadian Tire Store, eh?) (-:
i'm not picky, so just about anything with
tires would do just fine. <g>
with a bike, i could just pedal along
the rivers or the coast and see
the kinds of stuff i like seeing...
and stop off at the fresh market or store
to get whatever vegetables i need.

arizona is nice, but, based on past experience,
i think you pretty much would want a car
and i'd rather not bother with one.

anyhow, i'm just at the "contemplation stage".
contemplation is nice.
you can go anywhere for a few minutes
or even hours at a time,
and it doesn't cost diddly-squat.
