I think you need to go have a talk with Govenor Blanco, it was SHE who denied assistance. You forgot already about the mayor of NO's raising caine about the Govenor? As to US trooops, you need to learn the law, start with studying FEDERALISATION of the Guard, when its done, and what it means. jdn

Only the truly stupid argue with the idea of expected. In the case of FEMA and the responses to a disaster, who does what when is spelled out in the LAW.

In the case of Katrina, FEMA did an outstanding job. The truly stupid cannot see it.

Such is expected of rejeks.
