Ford Motor Co. plans to offer interest-free loans on its 2005 model year sport-utility vehicles, the company said Wednesday.Sales of Ford's locally built Ford Explorer SUVs and other SUV models dropped by more than 50 percent in September as gasoline prices rose.The offer of an interest-free loan for six years applies to the Ford Expedition, Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator and Mercury Mountaineer, also built at the company's Hazelwood plant, as well as the Ford F-150 pickup and some car models.
