Fine that you'd rather see the law on this be your way, i.e. as it is. Fine that I'd rather see the law on this my way, too, so that 3rd party candidates might gain a fighting chanch.

What makes sense to you makes no sense to me, as we NEED corporate funding to prevent a sort status quo Government monolopy of the process, which we are getting already. If I want "real open public debates," I'll stick with MY opinion of this, thank-you.

You seem to recognize we don't have "open public debate" now, yet flatly state that you'd prefer things remain "per the existing law," or per still more restrictions on campaign funding (which can only quite voices).

It's easy to see why I disagree. Perhaps YOU can trust government to fund other voices. I don't.
