There is the element that what's bad for the Bush admin is good for the country <bash away ABB chorus>, but I'm afraid that the Morton Salt Syndrome could also apply to the rest of the world. We are in a precarious position anyway... any more of a challenge to our "moral authority" might just tip the balance against our economic security. And in the end (despite the paranoid delusions about terrorists) that is our ultimate security.

If the pictures and videos are really bad, and if the world reacts as I think they might, it might set a ball rolling that could result in more damage than people realize. Lot's of "ifs" and "mights", but the risk is huge.

So I say bury the pictures. Reluctantly.
