Agree and certainly not as long as the gas prices are way below the inflection point towards non elastic pricing.

In Europe that is different and when this point moves up the gas companies move fast to fill the void (price hike) before the slower governments have a chance to do the same by hiking their already exorbitant gas taxes.

Good so because I believe those funds do more good at the gas companies than being used for additional welfare in places where welfare is already astronomic.
