That to me is not hunting - that's a bunch of lazy gun happy idiots. I have no disagreement with what you are saying - it's a problem that has to be looked as a large system as you say...not just one species.

Coyotes are protected in Mass. - they are all over the place and I'm not talking in the woods. They mostly are killing pets - one went after a child on the Cape and the Dad chased it away with a 9 iron. It's a very complicated problem.
