Croc, <coyote are chased down, often by guys on ATVs, and shot at any time of the year as there is no real "season" on them. the wolves in Algonquin Park are protected from hunting,> That to me is not hunting - that's a bunch of lazy gun happy idiots. I have no disagreement with what you are saying - it's a problem that has to be looked as a large system as you say...not just one species. Coyotes are protected in Mass. - they are all over the place and I'm not talking in the woods. They mostly are killing pets - one went after a child on the Cape and the Dad chased it away with a 9 iron. It's a very complicated problem. Great rant. Thanks Altair19 Altair19
