Gross, idiot, gross. Look at the bottom line. How many dollars did each of those companies earn last quarter?

The federal $.18 gas tax brings in more $$$ than all the US oil companies profits combined. And they don't even have to run a refinery. The Dems have been stonewalling drilling ANWR and off he continental shelves for 25 years. Now you have to pay Lawyers more than the construction workers to build a new refinery. So the Dems should be happy with $4-5-6 oil as this will force US to alternatives. So why are they blaming the oil companies and wanting to stick on a windfall profit tax? To get the price of oil even higher?
