The lead editorial points out Ronnie Earle's questionable conduct and his less than stellar record in these revenge indictments. It also notes disappointment with DeLay because he has become a big spender and power broker, something several of us here have said in the past few weeks. There is no criticism of his "methods", only his priorities and the taxpayer money he has spent.

The "41 indictments" are mentioned once in the third last paragraph of the news story on A10, column 5. The context is that the DeLay indictment is a product of a "lengthy investigation" by Earle, but does not mention any specific connection of DeLay with the 41 indictments.
