Us WHITE folk deserve reparations from the Danes, Vikings, Magyars, and hundreds of other nameless racist groups from up to a 1,000 years ago. Maybe we will just tell the black community to go file their "claims" with those groups-and offer them a free one-way ticket...

The money native peoples now get from casinos seems minor compared to the injustices they have endured as a people. I agree. But what now? Just about every race of people have endured injustices over the centuries. We learn and we go on. There are plenty of non-offensive names to chose from - why is it so important to pick one that demeans a group of people that have already suffered greatly. As far as I am concerned, I would change the names just to keep out of the hassle. A good example of an organization that did that very thing, is the old Confederate Air Force that used to be in Harlingen Texas is now the COMMEMORATIVE Air Force....even though the Confederate part had nothing to do with racism.
