No doubt, but most of the actions of these people would be soundly condemned by the others who believe the same "religion" but are no quite as mentally challenged.... The religions they take their beliefs (and ACTIONS) from are FAR FAR more violent and brutal than the actions of these gullible people--and THAT is point #2. That is your opinion, we disagree. I have no evidence that those without religion are any less violent than those with religion. Your constipation is not relevant to this discussion. I am sure you can appreciate that I would not disparage your arguments for any lack of physical prowess. I have my own problems by the way--and I will not use THEM as an argument. I was not using my apparent disabilities as a part of the argument, but rather expressing the point that I had no taste for reading the horrors of the link you posted. I posted several posts and the most (or the least) you could come up with was a plea of age and infirmity...and one glib sentence. You did indeed post a number of very long diatribes based on (I assume) an assumption of my position on religion. Frankly, I am not a member of the clubs you are so enraged at. My point was only that people should be free to think what they want and believe what they want. Your anger and bashing away at various religions is to me no different that Christians trying to control everyone with their idea, (Foggy as that seems to be) of what the New Testament actually says..... And Atheist believes in nothing, I am not so encumbered. Nor have I the misfortune, to take Christianity nearly as seriously as you seem to. As for long discussions of various lengthy religious texts, I am not able to actually debate anything I have no belief in, so I did not respond on subjects which have (for me) little or no relevance. I was simply taught not to disparage another persons beliefs.... A person who feels the need to spend their time whacking away at another persons religion is to me no different than the Christian who spends all their time spewing hatred. A fact that seems to completely escape many of my friends who participate in various new age beliefs....
