You've made points that resonated with some people (not so much with me). I think that is a good thing. As long as you are happy..... You puzzle me. You do not seem like a fanatic. Yet, if you had read Ingersoll THOUGHTFULLY...it is difficult for me to comprehend the hostility you are holding in reserve? Hostility, surely you jest. I am surely not a fanatic, you seem to me to be consumed with an anger, that so far I am unable to understand, railing against the Christians in a way that concerns me more for your health than anything else.... You seem to be devoting a great deal of time and effort on something that is frankly not worth the effort..... My conclusion is you did not read it or you did. OK Perhaps you are old enough to speak plainly and to forget the bullshit? If I have hurt your feelings I might apologise. I listen pretty good... I am indeed old enough to speak plainly. You sent me whole long diatribes seemingly based on Judeo Christianity. I am not either of those things. I was taught to honor all traditions, out of respect, and to expect that respect in return. If you send me lots of messages about Christianity and the evils thereof, and I have seen things that are in direct opposition to what you are saying, how would you have me judge???? OTOH just as I have seen many good things of Christians, I have seen bad. But that is true of every religion I have seen and every belief I have encountered. People are. So how can I take all the evil stuff you can dig up as anything but one side of a complicated and involved story that each of us can only see a small part of..... It is really immense this story of man, and as I say, you seem to be very angry at some parts of it..... I have learned that becoming enraged is simply a waste of life. Surely you can understand that I joined into this discussion, because I cannot understand why you would expend the effort that you do to post all of this stuff. I left this list for a time, because I did not and do not understand, so much anger so much rage, and for what? What is the reason for it? There was nothing to accomplish from it, there was no person who you might persuade, just hours and hours of work and typing to express an anger into the aether.... Such a rage or anger can poison you and all around you.... surely that is not your intention.......
