Neolib, It would be interesting to see if the actual paper makes some stabs and showing why the correlation might actually be causative. I doubt one research paper can make any sort of firm conclusion on the matter. Most likely the researcher just did some statistical analysis, made some correlations, then jumped to conclusions, especially this one: "The widely held fear that a Godless citizenry must experience societal disaster is therefore refuted." Just that statement alone is full of logical fallacies. Tenchusatsu
