No need to be sorry.

I feel great about it. I have good health, debt free, happy family, and haven't eaten fast food in months. I have enough interesting jobs and projects going that I can't wait to get started at five in the morning.

Better to burn out than rust out. Who said that? hmmmm...Neil Young?

Would I rather be twenty? In some ways, sure. Those would mainly be physical.

OTOH though the kids don't have it so easy either. I wouldn't like looking at:

100,000+- for college
150,000+- home loan
20,000+- car loan

And on top of that looking at all the jobs leaving for overseas. Three dollar gas. War in Iraq. Avian pandemic looming.

And who's the poet, songwriter, social icon leading them in spirit? I don't see a Dylan or Lennon. Maybe they will fall back on traditional religion. That wouldn't be so bad either. Young people need a....direction.....

I listen to a lot of modern music. Looking for something to touch me, to make me think beyond myself, for brilliance or genius. If you are aware of something like that please share.

I'm sure you know what I fall back on.
