Most of the time the absence of evidence IS evidence of absence (of anything to have evidence about). Humans are rarely efficient about covering their tracks, and few plots are so robust that they cannot eventually be unravelled.

I will be interested to know if KLP would have a different POV if nothing is ever found- no evidence for Salman Pak's nefarious "training ground"- no evidence connecting Saddam to 9/11- and if she would not have a different POV even if nothing is found, then I'm not sure why she brings it up at all, since evidence is obviously not an issue, if the lack of evidence will not change her mind.. At any rate, it will be interesting to see the answer.

Perhaps you are correct Ed. But I don't believe you are. We will know in a few years, much as we wouldn't believe what was going on in Hitler's Germany from the 1930's until after the war in 1945 ....and we wouldn't believe it then, until we saw the actual pictures as they came out in Life Magazine for all the world to see....

(I am assuming you saw the pictures, and didn't think that someone made them up to look like hundreds of thousands of people dead----and tortured--- to say nothing of the millions of people ground up and made into ashes.)

I'd like to believe as you do. It is so easy to blame the Administration for having blinders on. I keep asking myself why they would do that. The previous Administration was equally sure that there were definite problems in Iraq, and they chose to ignore the entire situation for a decade.
