I think Miller caved, and arranged to have her pal Scooter call her to avoid spilling her entire wad of secrets, RE the chimpistration. Miller was a major pimp for the war in Iraq and WMD. Fitzgerald is notorius for being stubborn and dogged. He could have easily asked for an extension on his investigation and more jail time for Miller. Would the Bushies want to be seen fighting it right now? With Delay, Frist, Iraq and Katrina? Alternately, Fitzgerald could have sought criminal contempt charges against Miller
