Those "minutemen" guys are just attempting to force the government to do it's job and protect the borders. I'm sure they've got a few right-wing authoritarian cop wanna-be (but psychologically disqualified) gun nuts that will screw it up, but I agree with their goal.

I wouldn't be at all surprised in this era of "cheap labor" Republicans if there aren't some buried directives in the Border Patrol's orders to let more through for the cronies who need the cheap labor. The chimp is a "cheap labor" Republican.

Is it just me or that Minuteman thing is spinning out of control?

Militia group to launch border sweep
Campaign against illegal immigrants raises fears of violence

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (Reuters) -- A U.S. militia group will launch a month-long sweep for illegal immigrants along the border with Mexico this weekend, stepping up a campaign that has raised fears of violence.

Spinning out of control? Hardly.

What's spinning out of control is Europe's refusal to let Turkey into the EU? Is it racism or simply business as usual? I think its a little bit of both.

Turkey? Most Austrians say no
