I'm pro-gun (although I don't have one). I like the idea of an armed citizenry.

What do you think about the idea of arming all the Iraqis, and then us leaving? Seems like the type of place where that's a good idea (seems sort of similar to the "old west").

Seriously, that seems like a good idea to me.

For once can you join in the conclusion that this is the product of a sickness (likely from Muslim society) that needs to be exterminated, or do you still think the bomber's behavior is the result of inappropriate actions by "outsiders" interefering with the bomber's "normal" world?

'Suicide bomb' behind Bali attack

edition.cnn.com

CNN) -- Terrorists brought death to Indonesia's Bali paradise, setting off blasts at restaurants in two resort spots packed with tourists, killing at least 26 people.

The explosions ripped the head and feet off a body, with the bombs likely carried in a backpack, vest or waist pack carried by an attacker, he said.

Kuta and Jimbaran -- the other resort spot targeted -- were "chock-a-block" with tourists celebrating a holiday weekend, Mulcahy said.

It was a school holiday for Australians, and many had traveled to Bali for the weekend, he added.
