TJ, I note from cdg.org that you could enjoy faster, and I guess cheaper, 3G services in Thailand than on your crusty old GPRS gadget.

<it turns out that i have no access to broadband ... oh well, all is well, because i can access SI via GPRS roaming service from my HK cellular provider. Thank goodness I am not hooked up with one of those limited coverage CDMA networks :0)>

Note the extensive coverage already. I am surprised that somebody with such means as yours would be satisfied with a very low bit rate GPRS system compared with the fast 1xEV-DO systems which are perhaps available where you are now.

By fast I mean nearly megabit per second compared with 20 kilobit per second on your GPRS legacy system.

You could be swooping and zooming in 3G while also conducting your idyllic 3D activities. You can have it all!

I am looking forwards to the day you pay me a royalty and more so to the day you buy one of my ASICs. Not to mention when you pay BREW fees. And use gpsOne. And radioOne. Etc.

Mqurice
