Arun, Indians cheat. They have a billion people, with english as the main language of the highly intelligent. That gives them a LOT of people who can spell, which is unfair. Lots of those super-smarts end up in the USA where they make the few Americans, who are both talented and culturally attuned to spelling as being important, look like beginners. When I read Indian english, it has a distinct pedantry about it along with a somewhat stilted correctness. It's olde englische before the idea arrived that "words can mean anything, speling dusint mattir and self-expression is most important". India runs from way up north to way down south and it has been a human freeway for millennia. Africans spread out along the coastlines, filled India, moved on into China, Mongolia, over into North America and on down to South America. Then Europeans and Mongols collided up north and came back down south. India is like a giant human hurricane. Compared with 100% pure Inuit, I imagine India has a vastly wider range of DNA. Same for comparison with Swedes. The superiority of Ashkenazi Jews could also be simply that they are much more intelligent, as shown by tests. It fascinates me that people are so determined that all people are just fungible clones and anyone can do anything when it's obviously untrue. Mqurice PS: I should really learn the correct rules of use of capital letters. I'm partly in the free-form camp and will NOT be entering any spelling competitions and definitely not any grammar competitions. Plus I'm too dumb. How come Thai get a capital letter but Ashkenazi Jews don't? Do indians get a capital letter? What about israelis? I don't know whether English should be english either. Inuit should be inuit on the same basis as ashkenazi jews are lower case, I suppose. BTW, indians should be grateful that their ancestors were colonized by Britain or they would still be using weird local lingos and would NOT be enjoying big incomes from QUALCOMM outsourcing and investment in Bangalore. Similarly, negroes in the USA should be grateful that the slave trade placed them in the USA. They should NOT be demanding compensation from current taxpayers - greedy swine!!
