Looks like Odom is a bit long in tooth....hasn't been in any Adm since Carter days.... Probably is good teaching Russian though.... So, he deserves to be dismissed, I guess, huh Karen? But wait, what is that group called the "National Security Agency" that he served in during the Reagan admin? As Director of the National Security Agency from 1985 to 1988, he was responsible for the nation's signals intelligence and communications security. From 1981 to 1985, he served as Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence, the Army's senior intelligence officer. Guess he's just another ignoramus. After all, he doesn't share your oh so self evidently true perspective. And that's proof enough, QED.

Yeah, Odom is old enough to KNOW better. He learned it's better for America to let people determine their own future in Vietnam. The chimpistration didn't, and has to put America through a remedial class for the benefit of the chimp's hubris. As Odom said, it's just a matter of how many young Americans and billions of dollars we want to waste before we mind our own business. We left Vietnam, and now we go there as tourists and traders. The Vietnamese threaten us not at all. All the arguments you make about Iraq were made about Vietnam - that we just couldn't AFFORD to "lose". We left, and paid no price at all, other than to the pride of the war-mongers. Why be JUST AS DUMB AGAIN in Iraq?
