Hutchinson was guilty. But her lawyer outflanked Earle and made it so that crucial evidence would not be admissable in court. Therefore Earle had to drop his case. previously, Earle had indicted 12 democrats in Texas. Do your homework and quit believing the Bushie BS and spin. Hutchinson is no angel. Nobody in GOP Tecas politics is. People like Rove and Delay have taught them all to play dirty. And Delay is definitely guilty. To be fair though, dirty politics is a long-time tradition in Texas. LBJ used to use Rove type smear campaigns against his Texan opponents, like spreading rumors someone is gay just to try and get them to deny it. You should see the movie about Rove called "Bush's brain". It will open your eyes. Rove and DElay are political criminals. Not just dirty politicians.
