You didn't understand what I said and you're mixing up my points so I'll clarify them for you:

1. If people really were mixing with people very different from themselves (say indigenous NZers and European caucasians) then it wouldn't take many generations to see a homogeneous mixture from disparate beginnings.

2. I don't think #1 is at all true and that most people get together with people who could be their siblings (this is aka 'compatibility' but we all know what it really means LOL). Therefore in real life, mixing is done only on the margins and is, therefore, a slow process.

So, from what you said, it seems to be happening slowly in NZ which is what one might expect.

Yes I think some genes should be eliminated. Those which lead, for example, to nothing more than a propensity toward devastating diseases.

I'm for getting rid of those, aren't you?
