It appears to be well known that Miller took the information from Libby and supplied it to Karl Rove. She seems to be trying to avoid that connection. It's probably a legitimate deal since she was in a position to connect the dots and know for certain that Plame was an undercover CIA even if Libby didn't tell her that directly.This means that her limit in testimony is due to her 5th amendment right from self incrimination and not from any journalistic chivalry.
