Compared to the US it is. Ok, not as much as Mexico, but still cheaper. In general, for equivalent jobs, jobs in Canada pay roughly the same number of dollars as jobs in the US. But the Canadian dollar is worth less than an American dollar.

I think the minutemen going to be pretty bored up there on the Canadian border. They might catch a marijuana smuggler or two, since that just recently became Canada's #1 money crop. They've probably got some wannabe cops in Idaho and Montana who can't get down to the Mexican border, so it's like make work for them, to keep them out of trouble.

They're probably just doing it to appear politically correct, you know, not discriminating against hispanics.
