There's something very rotten about this whole scenario, but I don't know what it is.

Rumor mill says that Miller got the word from Libby about Plame and passed that data to Rove. She was a conduit to Rove about many Pentagon secrets, that's how she earned her access. She would have known at the time that the data was classified. She has no clearance and no authorization to pass the data onto a third party. She is protecting herself.


Why wouldn't the data have gone directly from Libby to Rove? Why the middle person?
