Mopani's Zambia Smelter Closed on Fuel Shortages, Reuters Says 2005-10-03 05:37 (New York) By Antony Sguazzin Oct. 3 (Bloomberg) -- First Quantum Minerals Ltd. and Glencore International AG, Switzerland's biggest company by sales, closed their Mufulira smelter in Zambia because of a motor fuel shortage, Reuters said, citing an unidentified company executive.
