Forget the manipulated gov't CPI stats. What about real life Grace? To me it sure seems real life costs of living have been growing at double digits for 3 years now and have only been accelerating of late. Everyone I ask says the same thing. Ramifications are many as debt levels are at record levels as are RE prices in part to the record low interest rates in part due to manipulated CPI figures. Folks would get crushed from both sides in 70's style repeat.
