"ask yourself how anyone can take the position that all we have to do is bring our troops home from Iraq, sit back, reset the snooze alarm, go back to sleep, and no one will ever bother us again. In case you missed it, World War III began in November 1979...
That alarm has been ringing for years."

No one has advocated doing all of this. It is typical of republicans to over react and add actions that no one in their right mind would support.

You must be listening to a different set of Democrat political leaders than the ones in power, and a different set of media than the one that publishes biased liberal OpEds packaged as news every day.

The analysis above is exactly what People like Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, Hillary, Mikie Moore, Soros, Sheehan, Dean and all of the other Democrat spokespersons have been saying. It sounds exactly like what the NY Times, LA Times, Chi Trib, Miami Herald, Guardian and all of the other liberally biased formerly MSM have been saying.

You are correct however that no one in their right minds would support the policies suggested by Democrats.
