If you study the documentation on your computer you will see how to remove the front bezel. Then, from its backside you can see how to push out the cover for the CD-ROM opening.

Study the documentation thoroughly and I believe your questions will get answered.

On your motherboard is a port into which a ribbon cable can be inserted. The other end of this cable attaches to the cd-rom drive. Get a cd cable. The cd drive slides onto an opening and is secured with a small screw on each side.
