re: Its so frustrating.......you march, you protest, you write emails to your congresspeople, finally most of the country gets behind you.........and still everything is stuck on a dime. This war was a mistake from the get go but Bush/Cheney/Rummie will be allowed to get away with murder and the people will pay through the nose in blood and dollars. Just like Vietnam. The vast majority of the country realized it was a huge mistake, even the majority of Congress realized it was a mistake... and still it went on and on and on... There are so many excuses... "there will be a blood bath", "we will look weak if we lose the war", "the communists (in Iraq it's terrorists) will overrun the region", "I don't want to be the first American president (in Iraq, second) to lose a war"... It's a hell of a lot easier to start a war than to quit one. It's real easy to "stay the course". It takes courage to admit a mistake. John
