In "Vietnam time" we are about 1/3 through this thing. re: The military will NEVER pull the plug, unless ORDERED to. It's the politicians that have to be convinced to pull the plug, not the military. The military is at best mixed in support of this war, they should be commended for doing their job, regardless of their feelings. That's what we ask and that's what they do. It's going to take forever for us (and reality) to convince the politicians... both parties. They wouldn't be politicians if they didn't have huge egos, and ego usually trumps reality. Admit a mistake? How often do you hear that from politicians? John
