Bush showed his true self today. He has no real political ideals, he is basically about cronyism. That is, entrusting his inner circle to keep the secrets, lie for him, cheat for him and do whatever's necessary to grab power (and money), then reward them with big promotions even if they're not qualified. Using the religious right was just a means to an end. He's not really religious, nor is he compassionate, nor is he anything but a hollow suit in the pockets of big oil and circled by a team of long-time insider loyalists.

In fact, I'll bet you GW is kind of losing his mind now. His second term is totally off-track and out-of-control. Even the rightwingers hate him today. I'll bet Rove is telling him what to do, yet Rove may be in prison within months.

As for Delay, live by the sword, die by the sword. His crimes have finally caught up to him yet he won't admit it. He's living in extreme denial.
