<<...Your southside guys totally kicked our butts!...>> a19: You are right...I would be happy with the Red Sox or the White Sox as World Series champions...Yet, there is a part of me (as a Cubs fan) that would like Chicago's other baseball team to go all the way...The White Sox haven't won the World Series since 1917 and they don't get much attention (or respect from the media)...Yet, Ozzie Guillen has put together an amazing team -- he really knows how to get the best out of his players...I think the White Sox may still be under-rated...Yet, every day will be a new game when you are playing a world class team like the Red Sox...;-) IMO, The Chicago White Sox may have the best pitching of all the teams in the play-offs right now...Jose Contreras has really hit on all 8 cylinders during the 2nd half of the season (9 wins in a row)...he seems to be very comfortable playing for Ozzie...fyi...
