Yes, I thought that statement was less that truthful. In fact, he would not have votedthe way he did had all the WMD's claims he'd seen been proven false. He just didn't want to admit it during a campaign where Bushies were running 30 million in negative ads against him accusing him of being soft on defense. Plus the smearvets campaign at the same time. Maybe that was a case of Rove luring him into a trap. Kerry remains right about Iraq to this day. Go read his speeches before the War Powers vote. He knew exactly what to do and what not to do. But he was not in charge.
