I think I've seen a cockroach with the sale of Intereality for a song. It reminds me of IVI. OK, so I may be overly suspicious, however the scenario below has happened before and is possible to happen here...

1. Foreign hedge fund buys a small stake in compnay.

2. CEO (also foreigner) has muted understanding and arrangement with the hedge fund to sell the company (or make private) for cheap.

3. Underperforming is the tool of the trade. Stock languishing is also necessary for this designed takeover.

4. One day, suddenly shareholders find that company is being sold to a foreign company (or a private company) for little or no premium over the market price.

5. Stock gets sold for cheap to the foreign/private company who then reaps all the abundant current and future cash flow.

A set-up to rob shareholders is possibly now in progress. The sale of Inter-realty is a strong signal that the sting in on. Why sell off Inter-realty when the company is loaded with cash? Instead of selling of businesses, Geac should be spending the abundance of cash to BUY businesses. Why did the hedge fund "fear" that Geac's management may overpay for acquisition? Let's not be gullible.... the hedge fund wants to buy the company for cheap and subsequently re-sell and make a big profit (at the expense of shareholders)

We need to email management and tell them we are aware and we are watching very carefully for this possible sting.
